The Orchards’ journey begins in our Nursery, where children take their very first steps in learning within a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Through a carefully planned and sequenced curriculum, children are encouraged to explore, discover, and develop the essential skills that will support them throughout their education and beyond.
Our teaching and learning approach is fully inclusive, ensuring that every child feels safe, calm, and supported. We encourage all pupils to actively engage in their learning, fostering curiosity and independence so they can grow into confident, life-long learners. Our practice is evidence-led, and we pride ourselves on delivering the highest standards of modelling in all areas—whether in academic achievement, behaviour, or personal development.

As a Church of England academy, we maintain strong and meaningful links with our local churches—St Augustine’s, St Peter’s and St Paul’s in Wisbech—and are committed to supporting and serving our local community with care and compassion.
